I once asked Charles Mann...hold on, while GTripp picks up the name I just dropped...back in the mid 90s "Charles, what was it like playing for two of the best teams of the past 15 years?" Granted, he was with the 49ers for only year (1994)

"Night and day...night and day. 49ers facilities were a 100% times better. Families were better taken care of by the organization. There was more structure in the administration. Players held each other accountable. No comparing playing for the Redskins and 49ers"

"But you won 3 rings with the Skins?"

So it's interesting that this has been said even back then. That said though, Mann is one of the most straight laced guys I know
