Defense = Disappointment

The defense reminded me of last year. They kept the score down but when we need a stop they can't do it. However the defense did not lose this game. This one is 100% on the offense. Defense gave them the ball deep in NY's territory and we had to settle for 3. That was awful.

Well, even if they didn't suck in that one short-field third quarter drive and threw a TD, that's still a two point deficit that couldn't be covered unless we had found another possession somewhere.

We didn't have the ball long enough for that single offensive failure to matter.

Now, if you score a touchdown there AND you don't fumble away that defensive TD, and you don't get intercepted on a pass over the line, then we probably win the game in spite of the defense, but do we really need to be flawless on offense before we admit the defense choked the big one?
