I don't get the logic of even considering giving up a pick package for a young QB, as good as he may be, when you already have a pretty good QB AND you have pressing needs at OT and LB. But to me that's the small picture here.
The big picture is Danny boy is back. Gibbs put him in hiding for a few years, but those days are gone. I don't like Snyder making player decisions, it has rarely worked out well because he fails to acknowledge how much of a team sport football really is.

I'm starting to think that Danny never went away in regard to personnel.
Under Gibbs I think the impression was that he was in control, but in reality Gibbs never said I'm calling the shots, he always referred to a joint decision making process with Danny and Vinny and the coaches.
Perhaps we all just wanted to think Danny wasn't involved, but I'm starting to think he's been involved all along and never really took a significant step back. The presence of Gibbs just made us feel better about it.
