Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Howell ain’t a backup .. you guys do realize we picked Young with number 2 overall pick … how’s that working out ??
How many can’t miss QBs are huge flops .. a lot Let’s see Cousins was a mid-late rounder and he was the best we had in a while … until now …Sam in my opinion is the QB !! Let’s get him help like a Oline and a TE … I’m tired of this team moving on from our best players ..why not trade Sam now .. we can get number one for him .. I’ll bet minny would do that !! My point is we got a young Qb that has had some struggles but he is growing and I believe will be a starter for a long time .. |

Who was the last "can't miss" QB, Trevor Lawrence? So far Sam has played better than Trevor did through his first 9 games. Give Sam an OL, an OC who isn't trying to lead the league in passing attempts per game, and a defense that isn't trying to lead the league in yards per play, and he could really thrive. |

Just sayin', so far Sam has looked better and played better through his first 9 games. Can he sustain that? Maybe... But with how he is playing, I'm of the opinion that we shouldn't - and we don't have the luxury to - roll the dice on a 1st round QB with all the other needs. What we need to do is add a couple more picks and use half the draft on the O-line, and the other half on the back 7 of the defense. |

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Urban Myers was a whole new level of terrible, the likes that we haven't seen since Spurrier.

Re: The Sam Howell Thread
Don't let the fact that our RR has lasted longer than Urban did, fool you into thinking he is any better. I'm sure he's a much better person, but with regard to football smarts, I am not so sure.
