Sam was really impressive yesterday, really impressive. EB called a good game too. I'd love to see a little more run/pass balance but EB just doesn't seem to care much about running.

That loss was clearly on the defense.

I wish I could remember the episode number but on the Al Galdi podcast there is a interview with EB, and EB says every time i pass it i hear Andy in my head saying good job Eric don't be afraid to sling it around

The loss was not clearly on the defense - it was on the coaches and 100% on the coaches. The coaching staff gifted the Eagles two TDs. The Redskins almost certainly would have gone into halftime ahead 17-3 if the coaches didn't call or allow (Ron) the worst play call in the NFL this season. And if Ron would have challenged (any other coach would have in that situation) that 4th down pass by the Eagles that is another TD taken away from the bad guys.

Bottom line is 38 points on the board, can't win a lot of games like that.

The defense has been a massive flop all year.

Or bad and overrated players and a terrible DC?

Defense was supposed to be the strength of the team, it clearly is not. We don't really have a strength.

Probably a mix of overrated players and an overrated DC

Either way, it's a seriously underperforming unit for whatever reason

Seriously underperforming - for a unit that was supposed to be the strength of the team this year. 2nd to last in points per game allowed, and bottom of the pack in most defensive stats that matter. It's hard to believe that JDR still has a job. Who TF would replace him though. There's no unit that is playing well, so who would you 'promote'?

Both Ron and Jack's sons are on the coaching staff. I didn't even know that... What a joke.
