Thumbs up How Wilson Manufactures Footballs

Here's how a little assembly plant in Ada , Ohio makesall the Wilson NFL balls. And we want to continue outsourcing all types of manufacturing in the U.S. to overseas plants?

Look at the employees and their longevity at this plant. Quite a business … their only product, lifetime employment for maybe 40-50 people,$25 million annual revenue, low overhead and high quality!

Very cool....
The guy that's inverting those skins looks like he'd get worn out after a few hours.
I wonder if they rotate their positions/jobs.

That's gotta be the toughest job in the plant.

She has the easiest job in the place.

The lady that does the laces has a strenuous job too, but she seems to work at a fast pace. The box lady was impressive too. I used to fold pizza boxes by the hundreds at a time...paper cuts. Cardboard can slice you up nasty.

You know those people don't always work that fast. Anytime you have the boss there and a camera going you step it up a notch. I wonder how many footballs the NFL actually goes through every year.

That was really interesting to watch. And I'm probably the only guy here who missed that blowing balls bit.
