Lol ok maybe not dream but prediction. Although I still think sf makes a play for palmer OR mcnabb

Looks like SSs dream of smith in wsh won't happen, thank god
Shouldn't he be trading for a washed up Pro Bowl QB from a division rival? (I kid, I kid).

Actually it's more my dream? I mean if Aaron Rodgers was able to do what he did as the 24th pick in 05 then Smith should be able to do even better!

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Can't blame Gray. It's one thing to simply jump ship but Gray was offered twice as much money and a promotion from position coach in college to defensive coordinator int he NFL.

Yes, I wonder about Haslett. Can anyone that knows about these things tell me -- was our defense SO BAD simply because of the wrong players for the 3-4 defense, or was Haslett also bad at calling our defense?

I understand we'd drop in rankings given the switch to 3-4 and the lack of a good NT, but really - the second worst defense in the league??

I personally blame it on the 3-4 defense. We just didn't have the personnel for it. Just don't understand why they couldn't wait a season to implement it. They could've ran a base 4-3 with occasional 3-4 looks. Sure they threw a couple of 4-3 formations, but they spent the whole offseason learning the 3-4.
