Sounds like a Mike Florio dream.
Maybe he's tired of coaching?

Mike Shanahan's college roommate, wonder if there'd be a spot for him here. One of the sports true good guys. I'd rather he just focus on getting healthy right now

Meanwhile, looks like Samuels' replacement here will be former Raiders Assistant OL Coach Chris Morgan

Oak had a very good OL this year. I'd like to see MH come on as an asst but I think he sits out for a while, Hey if he would come in let the VY talks fire up

Steelers DBs coach Ray Horton has left to take a position with the Cowboys. Steelers hopeful of retaining Keith Butler and Dick LeBeau
I hope he doesn't help them, but this is probably a good hire for them

My dream? Anyhow, not sure I'd read too much into this quite yet. Smart of Harbaugh to speak in a positive light of Smith, because he wants a veteran QB and with no CBA he really can't get another for now. So whether he wants to be or not, he may be "stuck" with Smith for a little while
