Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Ok guys, I watched the game today and saw two things that are important, no pay attention fellas and ladies, the d is on the field to long no matter who we play, and yes gentlemen and ladies JC still looks scared,,,,,,,again. One play I will refer to is the quick slant in which the ball was batted down, the rush was not there he had time, if he waits and feels the rush (which he cannot do) he will see that if he holds the ball another second the reciever is open for a long one. Just a thought as to how he views the game and looks into the the D backfield to see what he has. scared little boy. That is my input for this week. Where is Chase Daniels!

You're not gonna win, when you're not throwing to your playmaker.

But in Zorn's defense I think he was throwing Cooley back there to block since Heyer and Batiste (though inexperienced) are pretty bad tackles.

i think zorn didnt want to keep him because he knew if we played like we are playing now we would be calling for him. with the offensive line u need a scrambling qb.

I was thinking more of wins-losses and not Vegas, but you are probably right if it was a Vegas reference. Not a gambler

Exactly, they have to keep the TE in to help this line block. This O line is terrible and I cant see the O getting better until the line gets better.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Well, that punt call cost us the game. No one here will convince me otherwise.....

But in the end, yeah I'm pretty mad about it... but at the same time, I'm really not. We're not a good football team. We'll probaboly squeak by KC next week... lose to Philly, maybe beat Oakland later in the year...but I'll be shocked if we win more than 6 games this sesaon. We need to blow some things up...

Props to our defense today though. They were directly responsibile for 14 of our 17 points...

I cannot say enough bad things about our offense though.

That's college. C'mon guys, it's basic football knowledge. This place is frustrating sometimes.
