Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Should be a good one. But we have to keep delhomme making the errors that have defined him this season.
This game is on our multi million dollar defense...because god knows we cant expect anthing amazing out of the offense at this point.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Carolina will be well-rested so expect a good effort out of them. the skins HAVE to play mistake-free today. Do that, give portis his carries vs their poor run defense, and we win this game. and a few sacks would be nice.

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

This is a scary team, no wins coming off a bye. It doesn't look good for us. I hope we show the type of character that they played with last week. We'll see who we are today, If we wont establish ourselves an identity, Our opponents will do it for us. LETS NOT WAIT, GO SKINS!!!

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

If I was on the Redskins I couldn't wait for the game to start so I could play and get away from all the talk for a few hours. Hopefully we pull together and come out hungry and mean. HTTR!!!

Re: Redskins vs. Panthers Gameday Thread

Week 5 to begin in approx. 1 hour.

The SKINS need to come out fast and get in a rhythm, something we haven't seen this season. We need to pounce on the Panthers.

LETS GO REDSKINS!

Week 5

Rinehart Out, Mike Williams In (with Inactives)

Big Mike Williams is scheduled to start at right guard today in place of Chad Rinehart.

Williams hasn't played in the regular season since 2005 and primarily has been a tackle throughout his career. According to the Redskins' media guide, Williams, while with the Buffalo Bills in 2005, started a game at left guard against the Kansas City Chiefs. And the team adds that he also started at right guard for Buffalo on Nov. 27, 2005 -- his last NFL game, which was against Carolina.

After signing with Washington in April, Williams rapidly shed about 80 pounds and made the opening 53-man roster. He was active in the first four games as a backup this season but did not play. Rinehart - a third-round draft pick in 2008 - took over at right guard after Randy Thomas was lost for the season in the second game because of a triceps injury.

The Inactives: Hunter Smith, Kevin Barnes, Anthony Alridge, Edwin Williams, Robert Henson, Marko Mitchell, Anthony Mongtomery and Rinehart.
