Re: The Vick Factor

As they say in show biz, "good talk or bad talk atleast they're talking about you." If he starts winning games trust me the bad press will go away fast.

Since when has Vick only been seen as a wildcat only player? he was in the league making plays before that offense started being used.

Think from a GM's standpoint, not a fan. Worst case scenario was just added a guy with tremendous talent that could be traded for picks or players in the future. If Jeff George can still get phone calls about playing for teams I'm sure Mike Vick has some value!

3 years is a long time true; however 2 of those years saw no wear or tear from the riggors of the NFL.

Until he gets his feet back under him as a QB the wildcat is probably the best way to get him back on the field right away.

What other way is he going to be used this year, especially here?

I don't want him to be used at all. I would want him to back up Jason, learn the offense under Zorn ( a known QB Guru), and when the season is finished if Jason leaves or gets hurt we have a suitable, if not better replacement.

I could see him doing return duty as well; you know I always thought that Vick should've learned the WR position.
