I'm a Dem, and I oppose this subsidy (and I believe it has been overturned), but I try to be smart and look at the big picture. The money spent on this is nowhere near as much as Iraq has cost this country.

Who was tortured ? Do you mean having water poured on a mans face who would poison or kill millions is torture ? Exactly what injuries are caused by water boarding ? The CRA / Subprime bills passed by Carter 77 and Clinton have cost much more than the war . B. Frank ( D ) , J. Johnson ( D ) , F. Raines < Clinton Ad,. > , J . Gorelick < C. A .> ran fannie Mae , Rubin , Clinton cabinent ran Citi and Raines worked at AIG . Add our cost into failing SS and Medi care ,,, the Dems have more than hurt us in the middle class . Not saying that the GOP has been anything special of late .
