I said this team will make the playoffs. Laugh all you want.
Ill buy that we might be turning the ship around with SM and some of these recent draftpicks. But full steam ahead is not happening anytime soon bro.

20-27 for KC is a good night, he had a terrible INT but he played solid.
Jones looks like a stud in the making.
Ross is our 2015 PS WR star that we tend to get every PS

The best part is how he rebounded from that INT. He shook it off and went on to have a good game. Last year it probably would have resulted in a meltdown.

A Morris, Jones, Thompson, 123 punch is going to be deadly during the regular season, they will pound the opposition defense till they wear out and use lots of clock time. We haven't seen it in pre season for a reason.

this was the most redeeming point for me. KC may very well be our starter for the year. He took one on the chin, and did it in stride. He went on to have a descent game. Not great...but descent. Good enough for an 8-8 team...
I'm trying to be very realistic in my expectations for this team this year, because I have drank a TON of kool aid every other year.
But, SF, to say this team is a playoff team...that's just setting yourself up for disappointment. I never go to the strip club and expect to meet my new girlfriend. Ya know? It's just a hot chick that wants my dollars.......

I agree and if he can just give us like 25 tds and 15ints I believe we could compete. I just hope our d plays better

Corey was interviewed by Doc after the game on 980.

He said the Ravens really came out to stop the run early on which he said is unexpected in preseason. He said they were expecting to go against a base defense but adjusted and took advantage of the passing lanes that opened up because they played the run.

The team played as a team. We looked competent minus defending Steve Smith. We took ZERO sacks I believe. And no injuries.Isn't that what we want for a preseason game?

Or not have David Amerson guard their top WR

While I don't have us hosting the NFC title game yet, I also don't think we are the JV high school team that a lot of you all here see us as

Re: Skins v Ravens - Sat night at 7:30

i think once our offense gets in a rhythm, and kirk shows he can be consistent without turning it over consistently, we may be a lower middle of the pack team. 8-8. we still have a ton of deficiencies. if you watched this game and think we are a playoff team or contender, you need to put the kool aid down immediately and get a glass of water to sober up. coming from me, thats telling.... ::finishes last beer::
our youth is promising. but there are still a ton of holes to be filled (heh heh)
I love that we showed a sign that we didnt roll over. our offense kept playing. the lack of tackling in the secondary is really concerning. and even more so, the 100+ yard return.
I was also a fan of cobra kai kicking it into the endzone on every kickoff.....thats a new fad that id like to continue. basically the opposite of skinny jeans.
i really hope those go away soon.

7-9/8-8, give or take. i think the losses we have this year are closer than last year, though. i think that we show promise moving forward. i think we beat miami in week 1, though...........
