He's a very hard worker, but in the end isn't big enough, strong enough, or quick enough to be a front-line starter in the NFL. He's a good 3rd DT, good in a rotation. Montgomery has the size and quickness to be force. But with Griffin getting older, I can see the logic for wanting a young DT.

I wouldn't say Golston is as good now as he's ever going to be...he's 25. He will likely develop into a starting caliber player...for someone else. There's not going to be enough cash on hand after the 2009 campaign to give to Golston an extention, and he will probably go and sign for a team who has a need at the position.
