COLTS PRE GAME

Commanders can be move into the 7th seed by the end of Week 8 if …

The Commanders beat the Colts

Giants beat the Seahawks

Falcons or Buccaneers lose to the Panthers or Ravens

Re: COLTS PRE GAME

This is the week, Turners last week as an OC.
I've been saying it since preseason, when Snyder and that wrestle mania looking bastard get together at midfield, bastard is going to rub the Wentz trade in little Dannys face.
Since then, Irsay has added fuel to the fire. Danny boy is going to need someones head on the chopping block.

Make this happen Danny boy.

Re: COLTS PRE GAME

Due to his mobility, Ehlinger represents a greater threat than Matt Ryan would have. Perhaps it will even out because of his lack of experience, but the defense is going to have to be solid against the run as J Taylor appears to be healthy, and Ehlinger is a willing runner. He averaged over 11 rushes per game in college, and has 17 rushes in his limited NFL snaps.

It's a winnable game, but I am expecting the Colts to 'pull out all the stops' to try to get the W.

Agreed; at 3-3-1 in a weak division (with Jax and Hou), they're probably thinking that they can keep up with the Titans (who have not exactly been dominant). Plus, with the QB switch and the Irsay animosity toward DS, they'll probably be a bit more motivated. Going to be a challenge for us as their running game is legit.

You know I'm a big "motivation matters" guy. But I'm not sure to what extent team owners' beef translate to players motivation...

Winnable game? For sure. But let's not forget this team beat the Chiefs and are statistically the 5th passing offense in the league ...

Gonna need some Heinickeee magic!

Would you rather have a Commanders win or have Irsay stick it to Dan Snyder’s bussy?

Bussy is like Lebowski’s rug, it really ties the Warpath together.

Re: COLTS PRE GAME

The fans have spoken, at least 82% don't want Wentz to ever take another snap as a Commander.

No hate for the guy here, but the money was not well spent. We'd need a better pass-pro OL to get value. I was hoping it'd work out better (and the sample size is still small), but with where we're at, I don't think he'd be worth more than maybe (MAYBE) +1 win over the rest of the season (if healthy).

Players like TH. He's a middling QB on a middling team, but at least we can keep our 2nd round pick and $25mill next year. Not against letting him stay or putting in Howell at any time. Season is still essentially lost (ie, regardless of infinite lucky bounces, this is definitely not a super bowl team).

Re: COLTS PRE GAME

I havent seen a single min of the Colts so far this year. Have a better overall team O and D (per yds) and record.

Colts have a weird schedule. Played 7 games, 2 each against Jags and Titans already.

Beat Chiefs, jags Broncos
lost to Titans x2 and jags
Tied Texans

----------------

4:25 pm kickoff is cool ... away game

Re: COLTS PRE GAME

JDR is filling in for RR in the presser today. This response made me laugh.

He was asked how the defense has allowed less explosive plays recently. His reply: "I don't know, but they need to continue."

Re: COLTS PRE GAME

Yeah, that he doesn’t know is a little troubling. It suggests it wasn’t anything JDG helped along through coaching.

Maybe he just didn’t want to reduce further the trade value of Jackson (such as it is).
