Re: Mike Leach to the Terps?

This is Maryland's version of Mike Shanahan. Egotistical coach that we've mocked in the past that suddenly seems like a good idea on account of his ability to produce a winning product on the field. Sadly I'm for it even if it means that players from Maryland will likely be less pro ready.

My friends and I were just talking about this. I think it says something about the Fridge's coaching ability when he typically has a mediocre team and yet still produces quality NFL players. I'm not saying UMD is pumping out HOFs every year but you would think that a team with so many eventually decent pros would win the so-so ACC every once in awhile.

Re: Mike Leach to the Terps?

Apparently Kevin Plank is the driving force behind getting Leach. I always thought Fridge would be a great offensive coordinator in the NFL, mainly because he once was one.
