sbaughone Camp Scrub Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 72	Petitbon "hired" before Gibbs I was curious what was going on before Gibbs was hired in 1981. Apparently Beathard had determined he wanted a defensive assistant (Petitbon) to be promoted to Defensive Coordinator. Of course, Beathard said "...this would have to be approved by the new coach..."
