My (BSB's, or The BSB's at a time) 5000th :)

Well here it is, big 5000. I didn’t want to make a thread for this but I feel it wouldn’t be suited in any other thread. I’m the 9th person to hit 5,000 on this site. I started off with a stupid thread that I made that got 5 replies. Yes, my first post was a “noob” post. I remember it quite clearly. I came here and asked what people thought of our overall situation…a pretty vague thread. I wonder, what would have happened if I had found a different site in my search for redskin fanboards. Good thing I found this one.

I probably won’t be able to find all the 5000th posts but here’s a few that I can.
http://www.redskinswarpath.com/locker-room/17547-5000.html?highlight=5000
http://www.redskinswarpath.com/locker-room/16153-tafkas-presents-gmanc711s-5000th-post-whats.html?highlight=5000th

Well I can only find those two. I guess I am not good with the search function but if anyone can find others you should post them up. Many of them are really really creative.

I remember my good old days of posting extended smilies. Some of the newer members have never seen them (sorry I used to give out welcomes but you didn’t get them) and some of the older members may not remember them. Here is a taste from when SS hit 7500 posts
http://www.redskinswarpath.com/locker-room/12704-gmanc711-presents-tafkas-7500th-post.html?highlight=5000th

Yes the smilies were fun but took a long time. I really don’t know why I wasted my time doing them but I did. Usually all were done at 4 am in the morning but that was over a year ago which leads me to...

Since joining this site I have grown up too. I’ve gone through my junior and senior years of high school and then my freshman year of college. Those are really big years for change. I’ve actually seen my friends change a lot in the past 3 years. Just on Monday I was reminded about the thread that was given to me as congratulations for making it into Maryland . I was reminded as I played xbox online and met a warpath member randomly.
http://www.redskinswarpath.com/parking-lot/11101-saden1-presents-official-congratulations-bsb.html?highlight=BSB+Maryland – theres the thread. I used to post nearly as much as some of the people in the never ending thread but when I started college I died down on the posting a bit. It took forever for me to get from 4,000- 5,000. But I finally did get here and I am a more grown up person than when I made my first post.

But most importantly, I thank everyone at this site that makes it so enjoyable to be a skins fan and makes the games lost easier to live through. I’ve felt I’ve had good relations with most of you and I’ve really only been in arguments a 2 or 3 times with other members at this site in the 2 or 3 years I’ve been here. From Q3 to SHFT this site has given me a lot of laughs. I don’t feel I need to mention everyone by name. I may accidentally leave someone out but thanks to everyone that has made this site a great place to be for the last 2 and a half years.

We got matty approaching 25,000=> That is a real landmark. When I reach 7500 in a year or so I will be waiting for the next big landmark of 10,000. I know most of you will still be here when that happens. Hopefully by then we'll have a super bowl win. Heres to good health, good friendships, and good REDSKIN TEAMS.

Just like Coach Gibbs refers to "Core Redskins", BSB you are a true "Core Warpather." The site wouldn't be the same without you around.

But since you're a Core Warpather, I think that means that Matty will let you walk in free agency.

Congrats man. And don't stray too far, you make the site better.

I don't understand the exictment of our post counts. Is there a cash pay out at certain levels that I am unaware of? Is this resume building material? A right to manhood?

One real question. If you start a thread does every response in that thread add to your total?

Congrats BSB - it has been a pleasure reading your posts and watching all the vids you linked.

I always wanted one of the multi - smilies.

Sorry TheBSB, You've been denied the Hall Of Fame again. Reports are that did not have enough Posts in the big threads and you never had a post you were known for. But the guy who created the question 3 thread was elected.

Congrats man!

Yeah, SS your 8000 was a nice one. I don't know why i didn't congratulate you in that thread but congrats now.

Ghettodog thankyou for the smilies back

Schneed, those are very kind words and i appreciate them.

mredskin, you will see the reason for post counts. There are rewards. I hear at 7500 TMC gives you a lapdance. BUt no posts in your thread don't count toward your own posts.

joe, yes i need to start posting some videos again. Sorry about never getting you any smilies. I'll see what i can do real soon but i can only post 10 images and when my big smilies come out it takes like 500

Jamf, its a good thing i am not retiring soon or i might never get in. I think i'll take the TO route from here on out. Make some noise. My smilies are like my signature catch though.

Dmek, yeah i guess its not worth getting in arguements online. I come here for enjoyment. I, and everyone else, have enough things to worry about in real life and enough problems. This place should be a place to come, relax, and enjoy yourself.
