Thumbs up What do you know, Sen. Vitter is a sinner.

Louisiana Sen. David Vitter was a client of the "D.C. Madam."

If you're going to say something like this, please, please keep your nose, your brain down under rather, clean:

Quote:
Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) first got his start in Congress after replacing former Rep. Bob Livingston (R-LA), who “abruptly resigned after disclosures of numerous affairs” in 1998. At the time, Vitter argued that an extramarital affair was grounds for resignation:
“I think Livingston’s stepping down makes a very powerful argument that Clinton should resign as well and move beyond this mess,” he said. [Atlanta Journal and Constitution, 12/20/98]
Vitter Statement on Protecting the Sanctity of Marriage:
Quote:
“This is a real outrage. The Hollywood left is redefining the most basic institution in human history, and our two U.S. Senators won’t do anything about it.
We need a U.S. Senator who will stand up for Louisiana values, not Massachusetts’s values. I am the only Senate Candidate to coauthor the Federal Marriage Amendment; the only one fighting for its passage. I am the only candidate proposing changes to the senate rules to stop liberal obstructionists from preventing an up or down vote on issues like this, judges, energy, and on and on.” stated David Vitter.
Karma is a bitch.

You can say that again. This would not be near as bad for him if he had never made those comments. You would think that if you were doing the same thing you would just sit down and not say anything.

Whatsoever a man soweth, etc. etc. It will be fun to watch the press with all these phone numbers. It will be hard to figure out who the original whore was. That's what she's doing. She's going to make the press one of her girls, so to speak. There was a time when she would have been burned at the stake, and I'm not sure they weren't on to something back then.

All of you left-leanin' haters just don't get it. Vitter was merely conducting research, trying to get into the mind of Bill Clinton to see what made him tick

I love how he said he was forgiven by God and his wife. How exactly did he get the official "it's cool" from the big man upstairs?

Re: What do you know, Sen. Vitter is a sinner.

Wow...a Louisiana politician is caught up in corruption...I've never seen that before. :cheeky-sm

D.C. can corrupt ANYONE if they're there long enough. A lot of people from both political parties enter Washington with the best of intentions and dreams. Then they're sucked into the local culture and are separated from the rest of the nation and society.

I hope every single person caught being involved in this scandal are removed from office, either legally or at the ballot boxes.

No kidding. Big part of me is always thinking the same thing. Then I wonder...maybe they don't get caught as much as we believe. That's scary.
