Re: MLB thread
Just give the balls some natural grip so pitchers don't need other substances. I just find it funny batters can load up on pine tar for grip but pitchers can't do anything to help theirs.

Re: MLB thread
The fact Manfred is doing this mid season and allowing this drama we saw last night…he’s a clown unfit to lead.
He can’t really address baseball big issues, he pulls this shit? GTFO…I’m bout done with MLB, I’m watching much much less

Innocent until proven guilty. Huge baseball news regardless (Trevor Bauer).

Re: MLB thread
Brian Snitker is to managing baseball as Snyder is to owning a NFL team.
Such a fucking bum. Add - We don't have a Tour de France thread, and I'm not starting one. But that girl with the sign, fucked so many riders. WTF is wrong with people? What a selfish asshole.

Don't want to hijack this thread but the Trevor Bauer allegations are seriously disturbing. https://theathletic.com/2682479/2021...shared_article https://twitter.com/Astros_Arsenal/s...781252100?s=19 Not going to jump to any conclusions but if they are true he deserves to be in jail for the considerable future. I have no respect for sexual assault or rapists.

I mean a reliever hitting a grand slam of Scherzer is pretty cool I guess but I amore impressed with the number of people watching a professional sport in San Diego! I thought with the exception of our very own SDSkinsfan that the denizens of southern California were unaware that professional sports even existed. I always thought the beach was too close, the mountains too near, the women too beautiful to pay attention to such trivial things but clearly I am wrong |

Re: MLB thread
My boy Pete is the HR Derby champ yet again. ESPN couldn't stop slobbering over Ohtani in the pregame show. How the heck was Alonso the 5 seed in this thing?

I guess they rank them according to hype - Ohtani has been raking this year so he got the #1 seed.

Good reason to slobber on Ohtani. He is unlike any other player ever…. But yeah the Polar Bear being fifth seed was ridiculous. |

Either way it was a pretty entertaining derby. Mancini came to play too.
