My boy Pete is the HR Derby champ yet again. ESPN couldn't stop slobbering over Ohtani in the pregame show. How the heck was Alonso the 5 seed in this thing?

Idk but he was about as serious as a heart attack during the derby. I was happy Soto repped us well but knew he was done when he went up against the buzzsaw that is Alonso.

I guess they rank them according to hype - Ohtani has been raking this year so he got the #1 seed.

Good reason to slobber on Ohtani. He is unlike any other player ever….
But yeah the Polar Bear being fifth seed was ridiculous.
