I don't know about that. If Mike Shanahan leads the Redskins into at least one Super Bowl before his contract his up, look for the Redskins to extend his contract or give him a new one. Kyle Shanahan may take over the head coaching duties in Washington someday, but if he does well, like Norv Turner did in Dallas, look for other teams to pursue K. Shanahan.

I don't think that getting to the Super Bowl is the only way MS gets an extension. All he needs to do is prove the team is close to getting there to get that done.
