Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread
I really like RGIII as a person, too. Listening to interviews with him, sharp as a tack, very well-spoken. I mean, we knew this before the combine, but he just really impresses me across the board.

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread
Every year I watch the QBs throw and every year I hate the way they cover it.
You don't get to see every QB make every throw. I mean how hard can it be? They only make about 20 somthingish throws each. Then when the finally post the video capsule of each prospect they still don't show all the throws. steps off soapbox.... Anybody want to talk the QBs? I expected Foles to wow with arm strength from the 1st group but he was only okay. He didn't separate himself like I thought he would and his footwork was predictably sloppy. Jordan Jefferson really surprised with impressive velocity. Cousins threw the ball well and showed nice rhythm with his footwork. From the second group I was impressed with Weeden's velocity, if there was 1 guy that embraced the 'grip and rip it' mantra it was Weeden, even though he was off target on a couple of throws. Wilson was on the money with almost every throw I saw and threw the ball with a nice rhythm to his footwork and good velocity. Moore even despite his noticeable lack of armstrength is usually on time with his throws. Darron Thomas was turrible Last edited by 30gut; 02-26-2012 at 06:00 PM. |

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread
also did anyone notice that Tannehill?
NFL Videos: Catching up with Cousins don't pay any attention to the interview with Cousins; pay attention to the footage of the WRs running the Gauntlet Tannehill was the first QB throwing in the WR Gauntlet and guess who was standing right behind him watching him make every throw? Our very own QB coach Matt LaFleur |

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread
I really like RGIII, but I would love Luck instead and so do 62% of people on NFL.com:
Should the Colts consider taking RGIII with the No. 1 pick? 62% No, Andrew Luck has it locked 13% Yes, combine changed my mind 18% Yes, I've always liked RGIII 7% No, they should pick a non-QB

Re: The Official 2012 NFL Combine Thread
True dat. Plus he has a different playing style than Vick. RGIII is less of a run-first QB.
