And yes, the team won't have to sacrifice draft picks to aquire Manning but, think of how much salary cap he will eat up prohibiting more talent to be signed or re-signed. And the team would have to deal with this for the next few years because you know Manning's contract will be front loaded...

You sure about that? What if there's several teams out there that want his services? ...which I'm sure there will be.
