What's with the rumors that Cleveland might pursue JCampbell? It makes no sense in a WCO scheme unless somebody hasn't watched old film on him. :confused:

Haven't heard any rumor about the Browns wanting Campbell.

But, bias against Campbell aside he was a productive QB in a WCO system his last year as Redskins.
And its not like he was playing under ideal circumstances either.

If there is any truth to the rumor my guess it would come from the network of Holmgren WCO coaches Zorn to Holmgren to Shurmur.

I hope Zorn gets a shot at the Chief's OC.
Too bad for Cutler/Chicago though, I would have like to see how the Zorn/Cutler relationship would have worked out.
I bet Zorn woulda made it work, he seems like a QB whisperer or something.

Are we talking about the same Zorn? the QB coach turned Redskin HC that couldn't get the colors right and didn't have a clue as to how to fix the offensive disaster that was on the field?

As Wade Phillip has shown, a coach can be a good coordinator/position coach and be a terrible head coach.

He just wasn't cut out for HC. But as a position coach he's well regarded. He must be doing something right, he keeps finding work.
