I See QB Rumors (2012 QB Thread: The Sixth Sense)

I was not about to get into an argument in the other thread or be rude about the topic but here I call BS. No way the team is making 3 way trades, no way the team is throwing not only this year but several future years just to jump to the #1 or #2 spot.

As I have said I believe the team is putting a lot of misinformation out there to not only keep people guessing but to make others possibly throw away their draft to move up.

I'm telling you we'll pick up a FA QB, either stay at #6 or trade back for more picks, and pick up one of these really good WRs and a QB in the draft. My guess still has not changed:

I would do backflips from here (g'ville,NC) to Redskins park if they pull of the Luck trade. I'm hoping like hell that Indy has RGIII ranked close to Luck come draft time.

I truly cannot picture Andrew Luck wearing John Beck's jersey next year... I just can't wrap my brain around him being a Redskin.

Though... People who have seen my in-game posts (where whatever I type is immediately contradicted) would think that maybe this is a really good thing.... lol

I think the Skins are doing everything possible to get a decent QB and exploring all avenues, and in some cases I think they are doing or saying things they have no intention of doing in order to keep other teams from knowing what they would like to do. If other teams knew we were putting all our chips in for Flynn then some other team might try to out bid just because if we want him he must be good or try for him just to shaft us and if nothing else to drive up the price. If no one is sure of what we are doing then its harder to shaft the Skins.

I don't know SmootSmack personally, but I can tell you I've been on the Warpath A LOT longer than you have, and one thing I do know for sure is that SmootSmack doesn't post info like this unless he checks it out with credible sources first. Even then, he has stated this info is in the form of a "rumor". But, I would bet my clean pair of Monday's underwear that if Smack is ever wrong, it's not often and/or it's because the team did in fact consider a certain option he has stated, but decided for option B (or C) instead. Smack has a great reputation around here...and I respect HIM a lot. If he's completely and utterly wrong, we'll egg his house. ;-)
