You don't know how Manning's health is going to pan out, and you've seen how important the QB spot is now. Nobody has a shot in hell at trading for Luck. I think there is a better chance in Israel and Iran becoming allies than anybody getting a trade for Luck.

With the rookie wage scale, it is easier now for teams to keep the #1 overall. Although the Colts FO already made a huge gaffe by giving Manning a ton of money with a questionable neck, so you never know if they'll make another mistake.
