Yeah, the Raiders paid a steep prize but they had to do something cause Kyle Boller isn't the answer and this is a pretty good team who are not about not let their season go to waste. The Raiders have a solid team all around and whether you like it or not, are a better than the Redskins at this point. The one weakness holding them back (just like the Redskins) is the QB position. Personally I think Palmer will be rejuvenated and take the Raiders to the division championship, call me crazy or a crack smoker the Raiders needed to pull this expensive move. Even with Palmer they're not a SB contender. On top of that I heard today on tv that they only have 5th and 6th round draft picks next year. They went for the quick fix and it's going to blow up in their faces imo.
