Sometimes it does, not as much as you might think. The redskins ran the ball like crazy in 1985 without very good QB play from Thiesman.

He had very good numbers that year [1996]....like I said, it wasn't his best year, though.

No, we don't. If the run game can be effective all Grossman needs to do is manage the game, and maybe chuck it deep once or twice. I'm just sayin, the 2011 Redskins offense is not the 1996 Broncos offense.
