Re: Redskins vs. Giants pre-game thread

I don't think it's a stretch to say the Skins are probably better than the Giants at this stage in the season, plus we'll be playing at home. The Giants have had some departures, tons of bad luck with injuries, and didn't have a great FA season.

I think Rexy will be steady, but not great and Hightower's fantasy value will go through the roof after we shred the Giants' defense.

Re: Redskins vs. Giants pre-game thread

If Grossman doesn't screw the pooch we can win this.
Hightower is going to be my bread and butter fantasy team boy so I'm expecting big things right out of the gate.
I like our new pass rush and want to see mucho grass stains on Eli's narrow tushy.
The Jints WRs are young and fast so it will be a good early test for Josh (am I a real cornerback?) Wilson.
All around the most confident I've felt about our opener in a long time.

Oh, and we have to contain the mighty Bear Pascoe.

I'm feeling that way too.

Even if we don't win, I'm positive we're going to give them all they can handle.

Information on the Jints injury woes.
I didn't know that Sage Rosenfels was on IR.

The G men will move the ball if our O doesn't keep them off the field. The D may be banged up, but they still have all their weapons on offense - Manning, Manningham, Nicks, Bradshaw, Jacobs.

Our O needs to dominate time of possession, which shouldnt be impossible with our running game and the Giant's D being banged up like it is. I think they'll score more than 13 points.
