Did Holliday make the Cardinals? What a job by Shanah-allen in getting two starters for a couple of throwaways and a 6th round pick.

Jay Gruden = Zorny McSpurrier
Kirk Cousins = Next Grossman

...and all of his draft picks are signed. (including 3 PS players)

Holliday, and who is the other throwaway you're referring to?

I think he did. Regardless, we got a starter for peanuts. A 5th rounder=special teamer on average and Holliday is purely a depth player. Depth player + special teamer for a starting RB. Hell yeah I like that.

Unlike giving up a all-pro CB and a 2nd rounder

Well, wasn't said all-pro CB set on leaving us to test the market anyway?
Also, said RB did have some ridiculously efficient numbers to demand a high price tag.
That said, the trade should have been just the exchange of the players. The draft pick was highly unnecessary.

There is a lot of truth here. I hated that trade for so many reasons, mostly because we traded a hard to find commodity for an easy to find commodity. The saying RBs are interchangeable is very true.

I think we would have lost Champ anyway unless we gave him a crazy contract and we at least got something in return, I just cringe when I hear that.
