Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Yeah it sounds like a lot of people think he has a legit shot at beating out Westbrook...which is a shame because everyone knows what a huge Westbrook fan I am

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
well when you throw 2 high picks and 2 big FA signings into the front 7, they dm well better improve! especially when 2 others are pro bowlers.
honestly, i'm hoping our 7th round NT turns out to be a gem, cause having 2 good NTs to rotate would be amazing late in games. |

On Leonard Hankerson: "He has significant upside as a long strider who can stretch the field and use his quality size (6-foot-2) on shorter routes, but the frequency at which he drops passes is a bit stunning" I was really hoping Hank would start opposite Santana. I don't remember him having a problem with drops at the U but I guess he did. I remember him making big catches when everyone knew the ball was going to him. He looked like a great physical receiver. Hopefully, he puts some more time in catching footballs off the machine. |

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
Yeah i am most excited to see how the new additions on the D work out. Last year we knew entering the season we didnt have the right peices and it showed.
I dont expect the D to be top 5, but hopefully with the pieces we added and another offseason to add more pieces next offseason . . we can get back to being a top 10 D. On the offense, i get the feeling this year we will see pretty much the same as last year. Maybe hopefully a lil better but i dont have much hope for a significant increase on the O as I do the D.

Re: Training camp 2011 thread
This sucks- Looks like Cooley is going to miss "at least a few more weeks...."
So this essentially ends his preseason, or at best maybe he gets some action in the last game. Fred Davis is going to have a real shot to show out as TE 1. Chris Cooley is out at least a couple of weeks, Shanahan says - The Insider - The Washington Post
