The Redskins might...might, might, might, be able to get a second round pick from Oakland for Fred Davis. If they act quick.

This made me think about an interesting question. Who, at this day and age, would people rather trade away: Cooley or Davis? No question we have a surplus at TE. Cooley is getting up there in age and hasn't been injury-proof in recent years. And I think we could get a better price for Cooley than Davis anyways.

To me it's a no brainer, stick with youth, get rid of Cooley. Keep Davis. Buy low, sell high. I know he is a fan favorite, but we can get some value to move up to get in the right position for our future quarterback.

Cooley would be the better trade piece...but Oakland can't fit him under their 2011 cap.

Why in the hell would we do that? Absolutely not, Fred Davis is a beast.

You'd do it because he'll be playing for someone else next year.

Dude, for a second rounder? In a heartbeat. With all the qb's coming out next year we can use that pick to possibly move up. Best idea GTripp has ever had.......plus Logan Paulson Is no slouch.

Sadly, "beasts" are not particularly adept at learning things like pass routes, blocking assignments and things that become very important in game situations.

There is a lot more to NFL football than 7-on-7 drills in practice...

A second round pick for Fred Davis would be Manna from Heaven.
