I don't think Smith will ultimately be released, he may be traded but not released. I don't trade for him.

Young, no way. Not mentally tough, too much drama, too much unpredictability with this guy.

I'd go into the pre-season (if we have one) with Grossman, Beck, rookie. I don't grab QB before the 3rd or 4th round in this years draft. Work on the DL, OLB & OL this off-season and trade back/stockpile picks if possible. Work on QB next year.

The upcoming season will be a struggle and we're unlikely to make the playoffs, begin the true rebuilding now.

I'd hope that we can pick up an extra #2 through a trade down and get Ponder.
