Microchips in the jerseys to reward season ticket holders with discounts. Interesting concept

I like them, simple and classic look. Much better than what they had before I think. Interesting deal with the chips.

That's a great idea. The Redskins tried something called Forward pass a few years ago for season ticket holders. Really it's only purpose was to make lines shorter and make it easier to shop by linking your credit card to it. It didn't have any actual savings perks though which is what season ticket holders would really be interested in.

Re: Tampa Bay Lightning Go High Tech with New Jerseys

Seems weird to announce this in the middle of the season, and the day after the all-star game no less. Seems to me like if they were going to do it during the break they should have done it last week so that Stamkos could have worn the new jersey during the skills competition.

But whatever, for now I'm just going to sit back and hope the Bolts find their new sweaters and color uncomfortable for the remainder of the season.

Well they had planned to to announce this last week, prior to the All-Star game. But then they delayed the announcement because of this

Well I guess that makes sense.

I like it a lot. I do not watch hockey all the time but when I do I am reminded how beast these guys are and the hits they take are monster and at the same time make flying around the ice look effortless. It is a great sport.

Definitely like them. I prefer simpler, classic looks also.

These look a lot like Air Force's football uniforms, which is one of the better looks in the NCAA.

Good job not ruining the team's identity, like so many others are doing these days.
