Well that is what gets me. Honeslty I was one of those people who would shout "We need a WR", or "We need a QB", or "We need a RB" and for the last 10 yrs it has gotten us no where. Last yr after seeing the team decide to try something differen and have Cerrato (supposedly) leave, and Snyder hiring Allen and Shanahan and allowing them to run the team, I too changed my tune and was pleasantly supprised they drafted an OL in the 1st round.

But that does not solve the teams OL whoa's. Nor did the DL look all that impressive. Which simply proves we need to bolster those spots to create holes for the RB's and block for the QB and on the defensive side we need DL who can either collapse a pocket and or rush from the outside. Orakpo did well but he needs similar quality on the other side to keep teams from doubling him up and or a NT who can collapse a pocket.

I just don't get the media jumping on the "they need a QB (yes, but they won't start over Grossman, he knows the system too well and has shown it), WR (yes, but we've seen what happens when the QB can't get the ball too them due to a rush), and RB (no, Shanahan has always found gems late in the draft and we have 5-6 RB's now on the roster with the same skill set, we need a bulldozer type for short yrdage).
