Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Eagles)
We had a 4th quarter lead with the game on the line, and once again the D let us down. Allowed a 10 play, 90 yard drive that allowed Philly to tie the game, then allowed a another scoring drive for the game winning field goal.
The blame obviously doesn't rest solely on them, but they weren't very good today. Even though they allowed the game winning drive in the 4th quarter last week, they played lights out for about 57 minutes in that game. Today was different.

Well to be fair to the coaches and play calling JC did throw two picks which I'm sure had something to do with the play calling.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins vs. Eagles)
So in a roundabout way, the defensive shortcomings and coaching gaffes can really just be pinned on Jason Campbell, correct?
