Re: Tony McGee Questions for Lions

Does it make sense to fire a head coach after 19 games? Granted, he's 3-8 since starting 6-2, but it can't be completely Zorn's fault, can it?

Is Zorn trying too hard? It seems to me that he's going over the top in trying to outsmart the opponent, and in doing so, is failing. Is it time to dumb down the offense and go back to basics?

What adjustments does Blache and the defense have to make from here going forward? They made Matthew Stafford look like the best thing since sliced bread in the first half, and this is a unit that cannot allow that kind of play for this team to be successful.

And while Zorn and Campbell are taking the brunt of the criticism for the poor start, when do the players start looking at themselves and realize that they aren't putting their best foot forward? Receivers not getting beyond the sticks on 3rd down to convert, taking bad angles, knowing when to press and when to have a cushion?
