Sorry Giantone. We certainly know how it feels. The young man had a great career ahead of him. I hope things work out for the best for him.

You guys are talking about him like his career is done... Can someone give a bit more details on what type on knee injury he's got (like MCL, ACL etc...) and someone said 'degenerative knees' like Rocky but Rocky recovered well and is play prime football now so is there some more to it I'm missing????

He has patella femoral arthritis and a MRI has shown that his knee has worsened. Can he come back? I really don't know. Going by what Giantone says it doesn't look promising.

Some of you guys might know more about this then me so feel free to correct me(lol). From what I know this is a form of arthritis that formed under the Knee Cap and is found 9 times out of 10 in older people, they can help him ,it's not fatal but the out look for his NFL career is not good.

Coughlin has said he expects him to rehab and be back in the spring. Of course come Dec. 21 our offense will be so in sync it wouldn't matter if ya'll had Phillips AND L.T. still playing for you. The beatdown is inevitable.
