I expect this defense, and especially the d-line, to put a lot of pressure and create turnover against average and below average teams, and put up good fights against elite teams (i.e. the Pats).

Re: Redskins vs. Jags Gameday thread
I think that we're on our way to becoming a good team, a playoff team. We're not there yet.
There are only a few concerns in my book and that's O-line depth and consistency. Can anyone tell my why Blache plays the CBs so far off the effing WRs?

Re: Redskins vs. Jags Gameday thread
I'm really happy about two things:
1) preseason is over and we've had no major injuries (except maybe for Colt). Yoohoo! 2) now it all counts, it is all for real...finally.

Actually, I think his premise is always been the [aggravating] bend don't break. Give up a little in front of you if necessary, but make them drive the whole field, sooner or later they will make a mistake. Kinda funny since that's been our offense's exact problem. If the cb's are jamming or pressing, and the receiver gets behind them, it's a TD. Hopefully with AH and Orakpo, the qb will be throwing off his back foot more, and by playing back you can break on the ball better. That is best case scenario. Worst case, they dink/dunk and stay on the field forever
