What if this was just a regular Joe who makes 60k a year? She wouldn't file a civil suit. She would've went to the cops. That's why this is just so shady. A millionare rapes me, I wait a full year and then file a civil suit. I'm not buying it.

I'm not sure I agree. People file civil suits against "average Joes" for battery, sexual assault, etc., you just don't hear about it because they're "average Joes." Moreover, many of those suits are filed well after the incident giving rise to the suit took place. That's why in many jurisdictions, you have several years to bring this kind of suit. To say that anyone who files a civil suit against anyone making any kind of money 6 months or more after the incident took place is a liar, whore, con artist, etc. isn't really reasonable IMO.

Well people lie all the time to get money out of wealthy people. It goes both ways. Could he have done it? Anything is possible. But some things are less possible. If a good looking guy that's very wealthy/famous and has hot girlfriends needs to rape an average looking girl that's a head case then that's something he has to live with. It comes down to her word against his.

You're talking about a guy that can probably get any women he wants. Why would someone like HIM rape someone like her? It makes no sense. He has too much to lose. Yeah sure it's possible, but like I said some things are LESS possible. Plus there is no criminal case, apparently no evidence and it's a year later. All you guys that are instantly discrediting this woman for no reason other than it's a year later and it's not a criminal suit should understand that rape is rape. How she goes about finding justice, is her choice.
For the record, I am not saying he's guilty, nor am I saying she is guilty of making something up. Let the evidence speak for itself and shame on a lot of you for even discarding this allegation even though you know NOTHING about EITHER of them. The evidence will hopefully come out, and who knows, maybe Ben has done this before, and others will then come forward. It could just be an overzealous ex-employee or fling...no one knows yet.

I do not know the definite answer but again I believe it goes back the belief by some that they are above the law and above most people. People are there for their amusement. Why do athletes and entertainers shoplift, rob, or even kill?

I really hope Ben did not do this, I happen to think he is a pretty standup guy but we will find out. If he did do this then he should be punished. If she is lying then she should be punished. Crying rape is just as bad in my opinion.
