People around here need to stop looking at everything through their burgundy and gold glasses. Daniels doesn't get a lot of press but he's every bit as good as Cooley is. He doesn't make the Pro Bowl cause he's got Gates and Gonzalez in the AFC. If Cooley were in the AFC he would never get picked over those two.

Cooley is a better blocker than really everyone gives him credit for. Two years ago, I called him the best TE in the league, based on receiving acumen and clearly improving blocking acumen. He hasn't had a receiving season quite like 2006 though, and frankly, hasn't been as valuable under Campbell as he was under Brunell. Therefore, probably not the best TE in football, and never was, though he certainly seemed like he was going to be for awhile.
