Frankly, after QB camps and six weeks of training camp, amsey's "experience" or his "progress" or lack of either one left open the question of whether or not he needed more time or if he was "never going to get it".

Now that he has shown significant improvement, it is easy to look back and say that no one could have ever questioned if he was smart emough to master it. Well, when he was botching every third play just a couple of months ago, it was indeed possible to wonder if he had what was necessary to master this offensive system. When someone is failing to perform adequately, it is not easy to tell if they are still learning or if they have reached their level of competency. Ramsey was still learning...
