I say Raiders or Steelers. He wouldn't dare **** with Tomlin and the Steelers lost Nate Washington.

There are some less than knowledgable Redskins fans at my work who LOVE that Owens is available and they are putting the B&G on him already. It's funny as hell and really scary at the same time.

Unforntunately, I imagine Dan Snyder is just like my co-workers.
I don't claim to be right all the time.

I'd sign Holt in a heartbeat. Yes, he clearly on his downside but he's the kinda of pro who could show Thomas and Kelly what it takes to succeed.

Not sure how he would fit in b/c I am pretty sure he wouldn't want to be the No. 4 receiver.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

Why not sign Marvin Harrison, instead of T.O.? What's the difference? One is a certified headcase, the other is the quiet assassin. If we haven't signed Marvin Harrison by now why would we sign TO?

Owens will not wind up here. Period. The FO realizes the disaster that would be, plus the guy makes a lot of drops.

A healthy Marvin Harrison is going to demand money, and T.O. is just f'ing crazy. I agree JoeRedskin, I would sign Holt in a heartbeat at the right price. He'd be a good teacher for Kelly and Thomas.

If Holt is released, he'll be a Carolina Panther. He's been wanting to play there for years. If Holt came, he would be our #2. His numbers dropped a little last year, but he still had almost 800yards on a team whose offense was just horrible. i'd love to have him here, but i think the odds are 1000-1 that he signs with the Panthers or stays with the Rams.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

On the other hand, maybe the Cowboys sign Marvin Harrison as a replacement for TO.

Cause if I'm not mistaken Harrison is like 5-11 which puts him right in company or close to it with Moss and El. We need an elite tall WR with some weight behind him not a small WR like we already have. I thought of Harrison also until I looked at his size and weight. I also looked at Holt but I thought he got picked back up by SL. He's also very old.

The difference is Marvin Harrison needs to be delivered the ball in a relatively small window compared to Terrell. I like Marvin more as a man, but not as a player. Especially not as a player with Jason Campbell throwing him the ball. Terrell makes plays. Marvin helped Peyton finish plays.

I think (and hope) that the Redskins learned about having a dive/headcase WR when Lloyd was here.

I wouldn't be upset at bringing TO here, for the right price. But I wouldn't prefer it. We have other more pressing needs. And I don't want us bringing him here just to keep him off the Giants either.
SS, I have to ask you the obvious things that I would the last few teams that made this mistake. He has been....unloaded under negative circumstances at each address he has worked. I won't bother to recount the tortuous locker room debacles he has brought each time. Each time, those teams foolishly thought they could???? Deal with him?
They were wrong.....
Why would we think things would be different?
I think it would be a cataclismic mistake on our part to allow that.......trash in our locker room....for any price.
WHATEVER WE DO.....don't invite him inside

I don't know how the 49ers were as a team (chemistry/leadership/etc.,etc.) when they unloaded him, but I think the teams he has been to have been a bit dysfunctional (Philly) and full-blown dysfunctional (Dallas, although he was under the Tuna for two years). This has definitely not help with his antics. Maybe Darth Hoody will pretend he has something to prove and take T.O., I mean Randy Moss has worked out ok for them.

Supposedly he called Jeff Garcia a HOMO and yet he went to play with Romo.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.

Cowherd just announced that a high ranking Redskins official said that they have NO interest in Owens.

Thank you Jebus!
