The skins have waited to address the O-line through the draft.
Take a look at the success rate of recent first round Offensive linemen in their rookie season. 2008 Jake Long - Miami Ryan Clady - Denver Branden Albert - KC Jeff Otah - Carolina Duane Brown - Houston 2007 Joe Thomas - Cleveland Levi Brown - Arizona Joe Staley - San Francisco Ben Grubbs - Baltimore 2006 D'Brickishaw Ferguson - New York Jets Davin Joeseph - Tampa Bay All of these players made a big impact in their rookie seasons. I think the redskins are hoping to plug in a high profile rookie to boost the OL in a position that historically rookies are able to step in and play at a high level sooner then most positions.
