A lot of people say they don't like the money but why do we care? This is basically a 4 year contract for $48 million and then they will renegotiate. I think people need to ignore the "$100 Million" and focus on the fact that we locked up the unanimous #1 free agent talent in the league without sacrificing anything.

You bring up a great point, and one that hasn't been discussed all that much. This is essentially a 4 year deal. I'm too fixated on the "$100 million" figure.
