Cassel's turnaround and development within the offense is a great story, and some of that is real, legitimate improvement, but lets not forget that in the first third of the season that Cassel was SO bad that he basically cost them a playoff spot.

Overall, you balance the good with the bad, and you are looking at a slightly above average year in one of the most fertile offensive environments of all time.

Assuming that he doesn't get in as an alternate this year, I'd be willing to go out on a (fairly sturdy) limb and say that Matt Cassel will NEVER make a pro bowl.
