Falcons, Saints, Cardinals, Texans, Lions. Basically any team that is not only use to loosing in recent years but also one that doesn't have a history of winning a Super Bowl. Of course the teams I mention also function as career killers, but at least the fans will be a lot eaiser on you.

I think there are plenty of teams and owners that have more patience than the Redskins and their fans

What a relief

The most refreshing thing about the Zorn hire is that we can't reasonably expect this guy to have a winning season his first time out. If we go 1-15 next season, I'll be disappointed . . . but at least I won't be ANGRY. Every other coach was expected to win and win quickly. For those of you that think that the Zorn hiring is a joke and embarrassing, you may be right, but this needed to happen and it needed to happen a long time ago.

The Washington Redskins are dead. Long live the Washington Redskins!

Well seeing as how the term young is a relative term that depends on an indivduals perception your not really laying any facts out there now are you.See, I can split hairs too.I also dont see how I am blowing sushine up anyones backside but whatever you are entitled to your opinion.Anyways, I like the hire only because it maybe means that Snyder is no longer picking retreads and looking to start something fresh.Maybe it will work maybe it wont, none of use know.

Forecasters are saying that Trufant gets tagged in Seattle.

This hire is baffling.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach

Well, I think this is a good move, though I don't know a lot about Jim Zorn. From what people are saying about him, I get the feeling he is, as Shawn Springs says, very smart and very sharp.

As a point for his character, I like that he is very involved with Medical Teams International, which is dedicated to getting proper health care to disadvantaged people in developing countries.

Character counts, and everyone seems to praise his character.

He has had long tutelage under one of the great coaches in the NFL, Mike Holmgren, who wanted to keep him.

Intuitively, he seems like a person who is ready to lead an NFL team, and be successful.

I think we should welcome Jim Zorn and be supportive of him.

Re: BREAKING NEWS: Multiple Sources Confirm Jim Zorn Named Head Coach

1976 14 games played 2-12 team record (12 TDs, 27 Ints)
1977 10 games played 5-9 team record (16/19)
1978 16 games played 9-7 team record (15/20)
1979 16 games played 9-7 team record (20/18)
1980 16 games played 4-12 team record (17/20)
1981 13 games played 6-10 team record (13/9)
1982 9 games played 4-5 team record (7/11)
1983 16 games played 9-7 team record (7/7)
1984 16 games played 12-4 team record **17 attempted passes. Krieg took over. (0/2)
1985 13 games played 8-8 team record for Green Bay, 123 pass attempts (4/6)
1986 1 game played for Tampa Bay (0 TDS, 2 Ints)

So where is everybody getting the great signal caller under center idea from? I am just trying to wrap my head around this.
