Darrell Green was the last great player from Gibbs 1.0 left when I became a serious fan. During the late years of his career he was still a phenom, still the fastest man in the NFL, and he was by far my favorite player. I was sad to see him retire, but it is awesome that he got into the HOF right away. He was the first real shut down corner in the league. Basically redefining the position. I'm glad to see the recognition of that with a first ballot. With four of the six being defensive players, I wonder if the HOF voters are starting recognize some long over looked areas of the HOF
