Theory: Putting together a staff for the future

Most successful coaches are going to want to do things their own way. They are going to get the praise and blame so why not do it on their own terms.

My theory is that DS is too meddlesome and VC is a below average executive vice president.

He probably didn't hire the coordinators without his HC's approval. He's got his guy, we just don't know who it is yet.

Maybe, but really that's a guess. We're going to interview Spagnuola so he's our new coach? He's approved our o and d coord's? I didn't think we're were allowed to speak w/ him yet.

I hope they have a probable HC that has approved these deals but w/ DS/VC's history i'm not sure.

Well, if they already made the hire, why not make it public? If it's one of the SB coaches and they're doing this under the table, then the crap's going to hit the wall if it's announced. Cries of "tampering" would be made and the Skins would have to compensate either the Pats of the G-Men (probably with draft picks). I hope that this really isn't the path they are on.

We didnt exactly make joe gibbs hiring very public either.
